We are looking for a pastry chef ( m/f/d ) for our company in part-time. You’ll support our kitchen team in the production and preparation of all sweet dishes.No à la carte menu—half-board only. We look forward to getting to know you.

Your Responsibilities:

Standard duties of a pastry chef and assisting to ensure smooth kitchen operations
Current system: appetizer, salad, soup, and dessert buffets; depending on the season, a choice of 2 or 3 main courses, served from the kitchen
Active participation in cooking and preparing the menus
Contributing ideas to the creation of menus and desserts
Compliance with and monitoring of HACCP regulations
Careful handling of food is required
Conscientious maintenance of temperature and cleaning logs together with the team

Requirements

Completed training as a chef or pastry chef
Experience in a similar position
Knowledge of inventory management
Creativity in food presentation and a passion for the product
Ability to work independently and in an organized manner
Compliance with HACCP regulations
Team player with strong communication skills
Enjoyment of contributing ideas

Language skills

German

A2 (basics)

Work permit: EU citizens are given priority (no permit required)
Working time: Part-time

Strictly Scheduled Work Hours
(no à la carte restaurant; meal times are strictly scheduled from 6:15 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.)
Working hours by agreement
“Standard” half-board cuisine

Performance-based compensation based on qualifications and experience
Easy access by public transportation from Villach or Feldkirchen (approx. 15 min. each), bus stop right in front of the building

Employment relationship: Fixed-term contract

Monthly salary: 3200 €
Salary type: gross
Additional salary information: Starting gross salary of $3,300, depending on qualifications; potential for higher pay and bonuses
