Description

Off to new horizons! Join us on the Beletage at the Hotel Post am See and immerse yourself in a whole new world of culinary delights.

Do whatever you want—nothing is a must—the new Living-room by the lake. Foodies and bar lovers can look forward to casual dining with an emphasis on sharing. This is the motto guiding the latest flagship of the Gröller Hospitality group.

Cosmopolitan yet rooted in the region—an open kitchen with a wood-fired grill and a bar that serves as an urban hotspot. The atmosphere is opulent and lavish. Moving away from traditional half-board, toward a deliberately stress-free experience. No constraints, no “too much” or “too little,” no “too early” or “too late.”

As the host or hostess of the Belétage, you are the primary point of contact for our guests and your team, and your personality shapes the hospitality culture of Gröller Hospitality establishments. You will manage the Belétage with a keen sense of people, quality, and atmosphere, and—together with your team—create a place where culinary delights, wine and bar culture, and casual hospitality come together to offer a unique experience on Lake Traunsee.

What you'll be doing with us:

  • As the host or hostess of the Belétage, you’ll be the first point of contact for our guests and your team, and you’ll help create the special atmosphere of our Living Room by the lake.

  • You will lead, motivate, and develop your service team and create a work environment where hospitality, teamwork, and the joy of working together are put into practice.

  • You are responsible for planning and scheduling the entire Belétage team—from the dining room to the bar—and for ensuring proactive and efficient staffing while taking into account workload, reservation status, and events.

  • You’re responsible for ensuring that service runs smoothly and for providing warm, attentive, and relaxed guest service. Together with your team, you bring our motto—“You can do anything—you don’t have to do anything”—to life for our guests every single day.

  • You combine casual dining, sharing, and wine and bar culture with the kitchen and bar to create a harmonious overall experience. In doing so, you actively foster collaboration between the kitchen, bar, and service staff and ensure open and reliable communication.

  • Working closely with our Head of Wine & Service, you will continuously develop Belétage’s service, wine, and beverage culture.

  • You ensure that your team has the necessary knowledge about food, beverages, wine, and restaurant operations.

  • Team briefings and regular training sessions on service, products, and hospitality will be part of your responsibilities.

  • You ensure that we meet our high standards for quality, service, and hygiene, while always keeping guest satisfaction and sales performance in mind.

  • Working closely with the front desk, you'll keep track of reservations, occupancy, schedules, and capacity, and ensure a smooth flow of information.

  • Together with our events department, you will plan, coordinate, and oversee events and celebrations, ensuring they are executed professionally on-site.

  • You’ll keep track of the goods, inventory, and equipment needed to ensure smooth operations, and you’ll handle the necessary next steps in the event of defects, breakage, or the need for reorders or replacements.

  • You are responsible for ongoing inventory management and ensure that goods and resources are used thoughtfully and economically.

  • You will be responsible for the restaurant’s operational and administrative processes and will be proficient in using our Aleno and NOVA Touch systems—from billing and gift certificates to daily closings and cash register audits.

  • Working closely with the Controlling department, you’ll keep track of key performance indicators, financial statements, and business processes, and ensure that documentation is accurate and transparent.

  • If you have any questions or issues regarding point-of-sale systems, reservations, or gift certificates, you'll serve as a reliable point of contact and work with the relevant departments to find quick solutions.

  • You take responsibility for our guests' specific needs and confidently find the right solution in a solution-oriented manner.

  • Together with the Head of Wine & Service and the management team, you will continuously analyze and optimize existing workflows and processes.

  • As a host and manager, you embody the philosophy of Gröller Hospitality and bring our brand to life for guests and employees alike.

What you bring to the table:

  • You already have several years of experience in the restaurant industry and leadership experience.
  • For you, being a host is more than just a job. With your personality and intuition, you create special experiences for our guests.
  • You enjoy leading a team, helping employees grow, and taking responsibility for planning, organizing, and ensuring the restaurant runs smoothly.
  • You're passionate about wine and beverage culture, and in-depth expertise in this field is part of your profile.
  • You have a good understanding of business concepts and handle goods, resources, and costs responsibly.
  • You are known for your strong communication skills, enthusiasm, and confident demeanor. Even in challenging situations, you maintain a clear perspective and take a solution-oriented approach.
  • Excellent German and English language skills round out your profile.
  • A strong focus on guests and service, as well as warm and professional manners, come naturally to you.
  • You enjoy working independently, in a structured and efficient manner, and collaborating across departments.
  • You enjoy contributing new ideas, thinking creatively about existing concepts, and working together to further develop Belétage.
  • You can identify with the philosophy of Gröller Hospitality and authentically bring our hospitality culture to life for guests and team members alike.

What we have to offer you:

  • Full board provided at work, even on your days off
  • Accommodations at our employee hotel by the lake, featuring a terrace and parking

  • Opportunities to contribute your own ideas, take on responsibility, and actively shape the future
