Description
As an Assistant Restaurant Manager (m/f/d), you’ll support our Restaurant Manager in organizing the team and daily operations. You’ll serve as a reliable point of contact for our guests and employees and take on responsibility within the restaurant.
You’ll manage the restaurant independently at least two days a week. On other days, you’ll work on the floor and, depending on the schedule, may also be assigned your own station.
We’re looking for someone with experience in upscale dining who can take on responsibility and has a good sense of how to interact with guests and staff, as well as a knack for keeping service well-organized.
Start date: immediately, by agreement, or no later than December 1—as a full-time, year-round position.
Requirements
Your responsibilities with us:
- You’ll assist our restaurant management in organizing and leading the service team
- At least two days a week, you’ll assume overall responsibility for the restaurant
- You’ll coordinate the team and service operations
- You’ll manage your own station and provide our guests with personal and attentive service
- You’ll be a competent and reliable point of contact for both guests and staff
- You provide professional support to employees and trainees and enjoy sharing your knowledge
- You ensure compliance with our service and quality standards
- You’ll work closely with the kitchen, front desk, and other departments
- You naturally treat your team members with respect and clarity
Here’s what we’re looking for in you:
- A completed apprenticeship in the hospitality or food service industry
- Several years of professional experience in upscale service
- Ideally, some leadership experience as an assistant restaurant manager
- Good knowledge of wines and beverages, as well as confidence in advising our guests
- The experience and confidence to take responsibility for a restaurant and its team
- A passion for interacting with guests and a keen sense for attentive service
- Organizational skills and a structured, independent approach to work
- Calm and a clear overview, even when there’s a lot going on at once
- Team spirit, reliability, and a respectful approach to one another
- Very good German and English skills
