At our PLATZL Bar, our guests enjoy classic and creative cocktails, select rum, gin, and whiskey varieties, as well as non-alcoholic drinks. As Bar Manager, you’ll be responsible for a special gathering place at our family-run 4-star superior hotel—nestled in the heart of the Austrian Alps and just 99 meters from the bike park and the Asitzbahn.
Requirements
Your Responsibilities
- Professional and organizational management of the hotel bar
- Providing warm, professional service and advice to our guests
- Preparing high-quality cocktails, long drinks, and non-alcoholic creations
- Planning and conducting spirits tastings
- Further development of the bar menu and creation of seasonal signature drinks
- Leading, motivating, and training the bar team
- Ordering supplies, monitoring inventory, and conducting inventory counts
- Ensuring our quality, hygiene, and service standards
- Close collaboration with the restaurant, kitchen, and front desk
What You Bring to the Table
- Completed training in the hospitality or food service industry
- Experience as a bar manager or in a similar position
- In-depth knowledge of mixology, spirits, and beverages
- Enjoyment of advising guests, sales, and personal guest interaction
- Organizational skills, cost awareness, and leadership abilities
- Very good command of German and English
- A professional demeanor, team spirit, and genuine hospitality skills
- Creativity and a desire to contribute your own ideas
- Language skills
