Requirements
- Management of an item: You are responsible for the management of a specific item (e.g. fish, meat, side dishes, desserts) and ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest quality and on time to the satisfaction of the guests.
- Preparation and cooking: Independent preparation and presentation of dishes, both à la carte and for banquet events and buffets.
- Quality control: You will monitor compliance with high standards in terms of taste, presentation and hygiene.
- Teamwork: working with the other chefs and kitchen assistants to ensure the smooth running of the kitchen.
- Assisting with menu planning: helping to develop and creatively design seasonal and special menus.
- Ordering and storing goods: Checking stock levels, ordering and storing ingredients correctly in accordance with hygiene standards.
- Training and further education: you pass on your knowledge and experience to trainees and new employees and promote their further development.
