Description
We are a family-run 4-star hotel with 33 rooms in the heart of Obertauern —with a clear focus on quality, personalized hospitality, and a strong team.
For the 2026/27 winter season, we’re looking to expand our service team for breakfast and dinner service.
At Hotel Alpina, we deliberately operate with a streamlined restaurant concept. In the morning, our guests start their day with a personalized breakfast; in the evening, we serve them as part of our half-board program. For us, this isn’t about rigid procedures, but about attentive, warm, and professional service.
As a service staff member, you’re an important part of the Alpina experience. You’ll welcome our guests, manage your service area, and work with your colleagues to ensure that breakfast and dinner run smoothly, professionally, and with a smile.
Your responsibilities include:
- Serving our hotel guests during breakfast and dinner
- Setting up and cleaning up the restaurant area
- Breakfast service and supervision of the breakfast buffet
- Serving food and beverages during dinner
- Providing personalized and attentive guest service
- Adherence to our service and quality standards
- Close collaboration with the kitchen and front desk
- Supporting the entire service team in their daily operations
You’ll work in a small, well-organized hotel with quick decision-making, clear processes, and plenty of personal interaction with our guests.

Requirements

We’re looking for a friendly, reliable person who enjoys providing service and would like to be part of a small, close-knit team.
- Previous work experience in restaurant, breakfast, or hotel service is a plus
- Enjoy interacting with guests on a personal level
- A friendly, well-groomed, and professional demeanor
- Ability to work independently and reliably
- Ability to work well with others and willingness to actively support colleagues
- Attentiveness and a keen sense of our guests’ needs
- Willingness to work breakfast and evening shifts
- Good German language skills for communicating with our guests
- Knowledge of English is a plus
- Commitment to quality and an eye for cleanliness and detail
- Willingness to learn and embrace our processes and the Alpina service philosophy

Offer
We believe that good performance should be recognized, valued, and compensated accordingly.
For this position, we offer a starting salary of €2,100.00 net per month for a 6-day workweek averaging 48 hours per week.
Depending on your education, work experience, and qualifications, we’re happy to offer a higher salary. If you already have solid experience in hotel or restaurant service and can take on additional responsibilities, you’ll earn more with us.
