Description
The success of year-round operations hinges on the technology: facilities that run reliably, rooms that can be booked without cancellations, well-maintained outdoor areas in every season, and closing periods during which scheduled work is actually completed. As Technical Manager, you are responsible for all technical operations at every property in the town of Mösern that is owned by or under the management of the company, and you serve as the central point of contact for management regarding maintenance, repairs, and capital projects.
The Inntalerhof is a fourth-generation, family-run 4-star panoramic hotel located 1,200 meters above the Inn Valley in Mösern near Seefeld: 71 rooms, suites, and vacation apartments; Tyrolean ¾-board; two à la carte restaurants; 9ers Pizza; the INN Bar; a wellness area with a pool and saunas; and a seminar area accommodating up to 80 people.
Tasks
- Responsibility for the technical operation of all company properties in Mösern: heating, ventilation, plumbing, electrical systems, pool and sauna systems, kitchen equipment, elevators, and building management systems
- Care and maintenance of outdoor facilities and garden areas, as well as snow removal and winter services—including the use of a tractor and snow-clearing equipment
- Planning and execution of maintenance and repair work; management of the equipment and maintenance log, including legally required inspections and deadlines
- Planning, coordinating, and inspecting work during closure periods—scheduling, contractor coordination, and ensuring completion before reopening
- Selection, contracting, and supervision of external contractors; review of bids and invoices prior to approval by management
- Budget planning and budget responsibility for the technical department; collaboration on the prioritized investment and maintenance list
- Energy management: Monitoring and optimizing consumption, operating hours, and equipment settings
- Safety and fire protection issues, documentation, and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Prompt resolution of technical malfunctions during normal operations; coordination with the front desk and housekeeping regarding room availability
- Management and scheduling of staff in the technical department, as well as organizing on-call duty
Requirements
- Completed technical training (electrical engineering, installation and building services engineering, mechatronics, or comparable); strong technical knowledge of electrical and/or plumbing systems
- Several years of experience in residential and building services engineering, ideally in the hospitality, wellness, or healthcare sectors
- Knowledge of pool and sauna systems as well as heating and ventilation systems
- Experience in maintaining outdoor facilities and providing winter services; manual dexterity and a passion for working outdoors
- Experience coordinating contractors and managing remodeling and renovation projects
- Class B driver’s license and tractor license (Class F) are required
- A structured, well-documented approach to work; proficiency with MS Office; cost-consciousness
- Solution-oriented and able to work under pressure; service-oriented toward guests and the team
- Fluency in spoken and written German and English
- Unrestricted access to the Austrian labor market

Employment & Salary
2900 € gross / month
The above information is based on a full-time position (5 days a week/40 hours per week). We are willing to offer a higher salary depending on qualifications and proof of experience.
