Caretaker / Maintenance Technician (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

• Technical Support - Inspection and maintenance of all building systems. - Monitoring of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, plumbing, and electrical systems. - Performing minor repairs and troubleshooting.
• Maintenance and Repair - Preventive maintenance of technical systems and equipment.          - Repair of minor defects and coordination of major repairs. - Assistance with renovations, refurbishments, and modifications. - Replacement or repair of small parts such as light fixtures, fittings, locks, or furniture.
• Safety and Compliance - Assisting with legally required inspections and site visits. - Documenting defects, maintenance, and repairs. - Supporting compliance with safety and facility regulations.
• Outdoor Areas and Building Perimeters - Maintenance and inspection of outdoor facilities, parking areas, and access points. - Winter maintenance, such as snow removal and salting. - Minor gardening or cleaning tasks in outdoor areas. - Ensuring order and functionality in waste disposal areas, storage areas, and utility rooms.
• Guest Services and Collaboration - Providing prompt assistance to guests with technical issues. - Collaborating with housekeeping, the front desk, the kitchen, and the dining staff. - Assisting with the setup and takedown of events, seminars, or functions. - Coordinating with external contractors and service providers.
• Organization and Documentation - Maintaining maintenance lists, defect reports, and meter readings. - Reporting repair needs to supervisors or external companies. - Managing materials, tools, and spare parts.

Requirements

• Completed vocational training (electrician, plumber, metalworker, or similar) or equivalent experience.
• Technical understanding and manual dexterity.
• Independence and the ability to set priorities.
• strong focus on solutions
• Proficiency in German
