Requirements
YOU WILL LEARN THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AS PART OF YOUR APPRENTICESHIP:
• Administrative and organizational tasks and other preparatory work (purchasing, ordering, inventory)• Creating meal plans and menus• Complying with food safety laws and hygiene regulations• Preparing all types of food
YOU WILL PERFORM THE FOLLOWING TASKS AT THE WORKPLACE:
• Plating and garnishing dishes• Preparing egg dishes for the buffet• Preparing the salad buffet for the evening• Preparing the daily mise en place• Preparing and supervising the afternoon snack and cake buffet• Cutting, seasoning, and adjusting the flavor of vegetables and meat
THIS MAKES YOU A PERFECT FIT FOR US:
• Completed 9th grade• Fluent in German• Ability to work well in a team and handle pressure• Flexibility in dealing with guests and coworkers• Dedication and loyalty• Attention to detail and an eye for errors• Well-groomed appearance• Positive team spirit—preferably with a good sense of humor
