Breakfast Service Manager (m/f/d)

THIS IS HOW WE PROVIDE SERVICE.

Up to 100 hotel guests. Plus 30 à la carte seats. Breakfast, a 5-course meal, pizza, and à la carte—we offer a wide variety of dining options.

Still, it shouldn't be complicated.

We like clear procedures, thorough preparation, and service that is professional but not stuffy. We want our guests to feel well taken care of—without rehearsed lines or a lot of fuss.

Michelle manages the service together with the assistant manager. Short lines of communication, clear agreements, and a crew that works together.

For us, good service means that everyone keeps an eye on their own area—but still notices when someone two tables away needs help.

THE JOB

Stay on top of things in the morning. Make sure everything is ready. And organize the breakfast service so that our guests can start their day off right.

Breakfast is served from 7:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. This position is responsible for the breakfast service—with support from our service crew and, as a rule, from commis chefs.

From the preparations to the last table cleared: One person keeps track of everything. Everyone pitches in.

• Independently prepare and organize the breakfast service
• Assign commis and coordinate them during breakfast
• Keep an eye on everything that's happening in the breakfast area
• Provide personalized service to guests and actively participate in serving them
• Keep an eye on the breakfast buffet together with the kitchen
• Ensure clean, attentive, and seamless service
• Organize mise en place and preparations for the next morning
• Work closely with the breakfast kitchen, the front desk, and the rest of the service staff

THIS SHOULD BE INCLUDED.

We're looking for someone who doesn't wait for the first to-do list in the morning. Instead, they see what needs to be done, assign tasks, and roll up their sleeves to help out themselves.

• Experience in breakfast or restaurant service
• Enjoyment in taking responsibility for one's own area of work
• Organizational skills and a good sense of the big picture
• Ability to provide clear and respectful guidance to commis chefs
• An independent and structured approach to work
• Enjoyment of personal interaction with guests
• Good knowledge of German; English is a plus
