Requirements
YOUR PROFILE
- Completed vocational training as a hotel manager
- Experience in a similar position
- Extensive knowledge of beverages and wine
- Prudent and goal-oriented work style
- Flexibility, strong organizational skills, and the ability to handle pressure
- Reliability and an understanding of our guests and their needs
- Strong communication skills and a team player
- Strong service orientation and a commitment to the highest standards of quality
- German is essential; any additional languages are recommended
- A recognized sommelier certification is recommended
- Enjoyment of giving oral presentations on wine (wine tastings, wine presentations)
Enjoyment of planning and organizational tasks
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supporting restaurant management in ensuring smooth operations in the restaurant, at events, during à la carte service, and in the bar
- Shared responsibility for hosting duties—you will assist with greeting, seating, and seeing off our discerning guests and contribute to first-class guest service
- Active participation in service and support for the team in daily operations
- Assisting with wine service—including advising guests, maintaining the wine cellar, and organizing the wine selection
- Managing your own station in the evening
- Close collaboration with the kitchen management to ensure optimal coordination between service and the kitchen
- Support with daily planning and organization, e.g., creating shift and seating schedules
- Assisting with inventory control, placing beverage orders, and supporting invoice verification
