Requirements
YOUR PROFILE
- Completed vocational training as a hotel specialist
- Experience in a similar position
- Very good expertise in beverage and wine knowledge
- Prudent and goal-oriented way of working
- Flexibility, good organizational skills and ability to work under pressure
- Reliability and understanding of our guests and their wishes
- Good communication skills and team player
- High service orientation and quality awareness at the highest level
- German is essential, any other language is recommended
- Recognized examination as a sommelier / sommelière recommended
- Enjoy giving oral presentations on the subject of wine (wine tastings, wine presentations)
Enjoy planning and organizing activities
YOUR TASKS
- Supporting the restaurant management in ensuring the smooth running of the restaurant, events, à la carte service and bar operations
- Sharing responsibility for the host role - you will assist in welcoming, seating and saying goodbye to our discerning guests and contribute to first-class guest service
- Active collaboration in service and support of the team in daily operations
- Assistance with wine service - including advice, care and organization of the wine cellar
- Supervision of your own station in the evening
- Close cooperation with the kitchen management for optimal coordination of service and cuisine
- Support in daily planning and organization, e.g. in the preparation of service and table plans
- Assistance with stock control, ordering drinks and support with invoice control
