Description
We are expanding our team with a Digital Operations Manager (m/f/d)
Help shape the future of one of Austria's leading resorts
Digitalization, artificial intelligence, and knowledge will be among the most important factors for success in the hospitality industry in the coming years. At Stock Resort, we don’t just want to keep pace with this trend—we want to actively shape it. That’s why we’re creating a new key position of strategic importance for our tourism company. We are looking for someone who is curious, thinks holistically, and enjoys integrating new technologies meaningfully into everyday hotel operations. The goal is not to introduce as many tools as possible, but to understand processes, preserve knowledge, support employees, and identify opportunities early on.You’ll work directly with senior management, executives, and specialized departments. You’ll analyze existing workflows, develop new digital solutions, oversee AI projects, and help document and make our company’s knowledge available for the future. We are not offering a (!!) traditional IT position. We offer the opportunity to build a new role within an innovative family-owned business and to actively help shape the digital future of one of the most renowned resorts in the German-speaking world. If you’re passionate about technology, work in a structured manner, are eager to take on responsibility, and want to help shape the future of the hospitality industry, then we look forward to getting to know you.
What You'll Bring to the Table
- Interest in digitalization, artificial intelligence, and new technologies
- A structured and analytical approach to work
- Enjoyment in understanding and optimizing processes
- A high degree of personal responsibility and the ability to work independently
- Ability to explain complex topics in an understandable way
- Interest in documentation, knowledge management, and quality standards
- A strong sense of responsibility when handling data and information
- Strong communication skills and a passion for collaborating with different departments
- Understanding of business processes and economic relationships
- Curiosity about trying out and evaluating new systems and tools
Ideally, you should have
- Experience in the hospitality industry, tourism, IT, organization, process management, or project management
- Initial experiences with AI systems such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar applications
- Basic knowledge of data protection, information security, or compliance
- Understanding of interfaces, data flows, and digital workflows
More Important Than Report Cards
We’re not looking for a traditional computer scientist or a pure systems administrator. What matters most are curiosity, a willingness to learn, a sense of responsibility, and the motivation to break new ground with us and to continuously develop both yourself and our company. If you can see the big picture, enjoy organizing, are good at structuring knowledge, and are passionate about the future of the hospitality industry, you’re a great fit for this position.
