Bar Manager (m/f/d)

Here's what you can expect as a bar manager:

• Managing and organizing the hotel bar and the beverage service
• Ensuring excellent guest service and high guest satisfaction
• Developing new and creative beverage concepts and regularly updating the beverage menu
• Ordering and managing beverages and bar supplies
• Conducting and monitoring inventory, as well as ensuring compliance with hygiene and quality standards
• Training and motivating the bar team, including the bar staff
• Ensuring smooth operations during service hours
• Working closely with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest service
• Key-figure-based work (you know what to do if the cost of goods sold does not meet the specified targets)

What you bring to the table:

• Native-level proficiency in German and English
• Completed training in the food service or hospitality industry, ideally as a bartender or with a comparable qualification
• Professional experience in a similar role
• A passion for training and developing your team
• A hospitable approach toward our guests, some of whom have been visiting the Sonnenburg for years
• Extensive knowledge of cocktails, spirits, and non-alcoholic specialties
• Creativity and an openness to new ideas
• A basic understanding of key performance indicators
