Head Waiter (m/f/d)

The employment contract begins on December 7, 2026, and is expected to run until early April.

The menu at the Edelweiss Restaurant includes the following items:

• Breakfast for hotel guests
• À la carte lunch on the sun terrace (starting in mid-February) or at Edelspeis
• Dinner menu for hotel guests and outside guests at our half-board restaurant and à la carte restaurant

• Ensuring professional service at your station, which has approximately 8–10 tables or 30 guests
• Ensuring Mise en Place
• Harmonious Management of Your Commis de Rang
• Dining Recommendations
• Drink Recommendations
• Advising guests on wine and ingredients, and making recommendations
• Fulfilling Special Requests
• Compliance with the general quality standards of the Hotel Edelweiss
• Ensuring Accurate Daily Settlements

Qualification

• Relevant training to become a restaurant specialist
• Knowledge of Austrian and international wines (wine list with approximately 300 entries, ongoing training, and opportunities to taste)
• Excellent command of German and English
• Knowledge of various point-of-sale systems—we use Gastronovi
• Active interest in the organization's overall operations
• Enthusiasm for Innovation and Trends
• A strong, compelling personality
• Fluent in languages and experienced in dealing with international guests
