Assistant Manager (m/f/d)

The weekly work schedule is 48 hours spread over 6 days. The employment contract begins on December 7, 2026, and is expected to run through April 7, 2027.

The services offered at the Hotel Edelweiss include the following:

• À la carte lunch on the sun terrace (starting in mid-February) or at Edelspeis
• Dinner Menu for Hotel Guests and Outside Guests
• À la carte restaurant for hotel guests and non-hotel guests

Sound good? Then we have a few tasks for you:

• Responsibility for managing and leading the kitchen team in the chef's absence
• Assisting the head chef with cooking and administrative tasks
• Ensuring that operations run smoothly in all kitchen areas
• Independently preparing meals and acting as a substitute supervisor for the respective kitchen stations
• Independently manage merchandise purchasing and receiving when the head chef is absent
• Ensuring Mise en Place and Other Preparations
• Fulfilling Special Requests
• Compliance with General Quality Standards (HACCP) at the Hotel Edelweiss
• Very close collaboration with the Service & F&B team leadership

Qualification

• Relevant training as a chef
• Excellent command of German and English
• Experience in the same or a similar position
• Active interest in the organization's overall operations
