Description

The employment contract begins on November 10, 2026, and is expected to run through early April.

The services offered at the Hotel Edelweiss include the following:

  • Hotel restaurant with approximately 120 seats; breakfast and half-board in the evening
  • À la carte restaurant with approximately 40 seats for lunch and dinner
  • Hotel Bar/Terrace – à la carte, open all day
  • Ski lodge with seating for about 100 at lunchtime and about 40 in the evening
  • 60 people – employee meals

Sound good? Then we have a few tasks for you:

  • Department Head (Management Team) responsible for leading a team of approximately 20 employees
  • Timely preparation of weekly work schedules using appropriate software and in compliance with labor laws.
  • Participation in the annual budget workshop
  • Attendance at the weekly department head meeting
  • Conducting Technical Job Interviews
  • Onboarding in Your Own Department
  • Feedback meeting before the end of the probationary period and at the end of the season, including documentation of the results
  • Documentation in accordance with HACCP regulations
  • Responsible for all food purchasing
  • Timely Orders, Computer-Assisted
  • Selection of Suppliers and Negotiation of Terms
  • Delivery Acceptance
  • Warehousing and Inventory Management
  • End-of-Season Inventory Counts

Qualification

  • Excellent knowledge of Austrian and classic international cuisine
  • Enough creativity to create a varied menu that clearly differs from outlet to outlet
  • Awareness of the wide range of products: from classic ski resort fare to top-of-the-line products, from à la carte diners to half-board menus, production kitchens for ski lodges, and special events

  • Willingness to try new things and to get involved accordingly
