As a Chef de Rang at Haus Jausern, you’ll be a passionate host, working hand in hand with our service team and collaborating with the kitchen to create truly memorable dining experiences.
What You Bring to the Table
- Sommelier training: A completed sommelier training program (or a comparable, in-depth qualification in the field of wine).
- Professional expertise & experience: In-depth knowledge of wine and gastronomy, as well as experience in (fine dining) service.
- Language skills: Excellent German language skills for providing professional advice and communicating with our guests.
- Independence: A structured, self-directed work style and a strong commitment to quality.
- Passion: A love for the profession, a passion for hospitality, and a desire to make a difference as part of a team.
Tasks
Your Responsibilities
- Guest Services & Station Management: Independently managing your own service station with professional expertise, composure, and charm.
- High-Level Wine Consultation: Recommending and presenting suitable wine pairings for our fine-dining guests.
- Wine List & Selection Management: Actively contributing to, maintaining, and further developing our beverage menu.
- Teamwork: Close collaboration with the kitchen to ensure perfectly coordinated food and wine pairings.
- Dining Experience: Actively helping to create a modern, authentic, and relaxed atmosphere at the highest level.
Requirements

- Experience in fine dining or upscale restaurants
- A passion for wine, cuisine, and personalized service
- Fluent in German and English
- Motivation, team spirit, and a desire to try new things
- An open, warm personality—in true Haus Jausern style
