Description
Join our kitchen team as a Demi Chef de Partie (Saucier)—we’d love to have you start right away! As part of your new role, you’ll ensure the highest product quality at your station in the hotel kitchen.
The minimum wage for our Demi Chef de Partie position exceeds the collective bargaining agreement: €2,100 net per month for a 48-hour workweek (6 days per week).
Requirements
Here's what you can expect as a Demi Chef de Partie:
- Working independently at your station
- Responsibility for all mise en place at your station
- Following the instructions of the Chef de Partie
- Assisting with ordering supplies for your station
- Responsibility for hygiene at your station in accordance with HACCP standards
Independent professional development and continuing education
You’re a good fit for us if you…
- speak German and English
- have completed an apprenticeship as a chef
- have at least 2 years of professional experience as a demi chef de partie or commis de cuisine
- can meet the goals and complete the tasks assigned by the head chef or sous chef
- work well in a team, enjoy learning and teaching
- can treat colleagues and service providers with respect
- prioritize guest satisfaction and product quality
- have a passion for high-quality and unique ingredients
- work in a cost-conscious and efficient manner
