Your Job in the Breakfast Kitchen
You’ll make sure our guests start their day at 1,050 meters with a smile and a special breakfast. With fresh ingredients, lovingly prepared dishes, and an eye for detail, you’ll create authentic Forsthofalm moments—even early in the morning.
You’ll independently prepare our breakfast menu, whip up fresh egg dishes and breakfast specialties, and ensure that our buffet is always presented in an inviting, fresh, and high-quality manner. In doing so, you’ll actively contribute your creativity, your ideas, and your passion for good food.
At the same time, you’ll keep track of inventory, ensure the mindful and sustainable use of food, and make sure our hygiene and quality standards are met. Together with the kitchen and service teams, you’ll ensure everything runs smoothly and cater to individual guest requests.
In short: You’re not just a breakfast chef—you’re a morning person, a creator of culinary delights, and part of the Forsthofalm spirit.
Tasks
You're a morning person and love it when everything is ready before the day really gets started.
- You prepare our breakfast menu fresh and with attention to detail.
- You whip up egg dishes and other breakfast specialties.
- You make sure our breakfast buffet not only tastes great but also looks fantastic.
- You organize your work area independently and keep everything under control even when things get busy.
- You prioritize quality, freshness, hygiene, and responsible food handling.
- You’ll contribute your own ideas and work with our kitchen team to further enhance the breakfast experience.
Requirements
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
You don’t have to be perfect. But you should love what you do.
- You have experience in the kitchen, ideally in the breakfast service area.
- You work independently, are reliable, and are organized.
- You have a knack for good food, flavor, and presentation.
- You enjoy getting up early.
- You stay friendly and calm, even when things get stressful.
- You’re a team player who thinks proactively and takes responsibility.
A completed culinary training program is a plus, but what really matters to us are your skills, your attitude, and your passion.
